Time With Children

 

 Each regular Sunday worship service includes a "Time With Children" - a special, short message just for them.  After the message, younger children may stay in the main worship service, or go to the Children's Church program.  Twice each month, FUEL, an alternative worship experience designed for pre-teens and teens is also available.

 

 

 

Children's Church

Each Sunday, our Children's Church offers children age 5 years and older a special worship time. This age appropriate service offers child friendly lessons that help our youth grow in their faith.

Each Children's Church "semester" is staffed by four "permanent" staff who commit to teach for the entire term. We believe that this commitment is important to provide the continuity and professionalism necessary for this important task. During this time, children learn through crafts, games, and songs that allow them to learn and remember important Bible stories. 

 

On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month our Youth (age 10 and older) gather for an exciting, dynamic worship experience, FUEL, during a portion of the regular worship service. This event promotes building life long friendships and the foundation for an authentic, relevant personal Christian faith.

To date, FUEL has learned about the ABCs of faith, enjoyed praise bands, and sponsored a family in Haiti through its mission efforts. It is our hope that if this is a positive, fun experience that our children will become more engaged and enjoy worshiping and spending time at Palmetto.
