Praying Pelicans High School Mission Trip

Johnson City, TN | June 8-13. 2025

We are incredibly thankful for the amazing group of youth and leaders who recently returned from a powerful mission trip to Johnson City, Tennessee. The team partnered with Praying Pelican Missions to assist families still recovering from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene—an experience that deeply impacted both those they served and those who served.

Throughout the week, our youth demonstrated compassion, resilience, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones. Whether clearing debris, helping with home repairs, or simply listening to survivors' stories, they embodied the love and hope of Christ in every task. Our leaders guided and encouraged the team with wisdom and humility, modeling what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who supported this team through prayer and encouragement. PPC is grateful for what God is doing through this ministry, and we pray they carry these experiences forward to continue to serve wherever He leads.
